Two High-Performance Powerplants

There’s no secret that the Yukon XL is one of the largest SUVs on the road, but it has the power to back up its spacious size with two engine options from which to choose. The base trim Elevation has a standard 5.3-liter V8 with Dynamic Fuel Management producing 355 horsepower and 383 foot-pounds of torque with a 10-speed transmission. There’s also an optional 6.2-liter V8 that generates 420 horsepower and 460 foot-pounds of torque.

Drivers can also choose between 2WD and 4WD drivetrains. There are two trims available in 2WD: the Elevation and the Denali.
