2025 GMC Sierra EV Power Options
Built with heavy-duty tasks and off-roading in mind, the 2025 Sierra EV comes standard with a four-wheel drive system consisting of two electric motors, one on each axle, paired with GMC’s high-capacity Extended Range battery module for a net output of 645 horsepower and 785 lb-ft of torque. Beyond impressive power, this setup also delivers an exceptional towing capacity of 10,500 lbs.
If you enjoy more spirited rides, the Max Range battery pack is available, boosting the net output to 760 horsepower. This battery module also delivers a longer range.
Range and Charging
Whether you’re driving through Indianapolis, hauling loads to Columbus, or exploring Indiana’s natural parks, the Sierra EV provides plenty of range for all your needs. Both batteries are fast-charging capable, with the standard battery reaching up to 300 kW and the Max Range battery up to 350 kW. This allows you to add up to 100 miles in about 10 minutes of charging at most DC fast-charging stations. Home charging is also available.
4-Wheel Steer with CrabWalk
With the 2025 Sierra EV, maneuvering a full-size truck across busy intersections or in narrow parking lots is as easy as it gets. The 4-Wheel Steer function allows you to move the front and rear wheels in sync to reduce the turning radius for easier cornering. This system also includes CrabWalk, GMC’s innovative system that aligns the front and rear wheels in a way that enables diagonal driving across narrow trails.

Inside, the Sierra EV is designed to pamper all riders. Plush seating surfaces pair with heated and ventilated front seats and heated rear seats, making it easy to keep everyone comfortable in all seasons.
