The HUMMER EV features two motors which crank out 570 horsepower and a whopping 7,400 lb-ft of torque. The standard 20 module battery pack boasts an impressive EPA-estimated 315 miles of electric range and can be charged up easily at any publicly available DC Fast Charging station.

Ease of Maneuverability

The HUMMER EV puts you in control with its electronic 4-Wheel Steer with Crabwalk. If 4-Wheel Steer is enabled when traveling at speeds of less than 25 miles per hour, the HUMMER’s rear wheels will turn in the opposite direction of its front wheels. This ability grants increased maneuverability for parking or when navigating tight spaces while off-roading.

Crabwalk is an additional four-wheel drive mode that creates the unique experience of diagonal driving. When Crabwalk is activated at lower speeds, the rear wheels turn at the same angle as the front wheels, which allows the HUMMER to travel diagonally, helping to maneuver tight and winding trails.

Advanced Technology

The HUMMER EV is equipped with an array of technological enhancements. By pulling and holding down the Regen on Demand steering wheel paddle, the HUMMER EV will slow down and automatically send excess energy to the battery, without you even touching the brake pedal. The Automatic Emergency Braking uses radar and camera technology to not only automatically activate hard emergency braking, but to improve the driver’s hard braking as well.

This SUV comes with StabiliTrak, which is an electronic stability control system with traction control. This system automatically activates to aid in maintaining control during emergency scenarios by adjusting the brakes and propulsion torque. The included rollover mitigation is able to brake the wheels individually to help prevent rollover and provide added stability.

Infotainment and Connectivity

The GMC Premium Infotainment System has a 13.4-inch multi-touch diagonal display with Google built-in. This display has SiriusXM and AM/FM radio capabilities and uses Apple CarPlay and Android Auto to connect to your smartphone wirelessly via Bluetooth. The infotainment system also allows for voice-activated phone control, helping you to keep focused on driving and your hands on the wheel at all times.
