1. GMC Infotainment

The 2025 Sierra 1500 comes with a complete GMC Infotainment system that has SiriusXM satellite radio compatibility. SiriusXM offers virtually endless music stations, live sporting events, and more.

The Sierra’s GMC Infotainment system also comes with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto smartphone integration. With these features, you can connect your phone to your truck and use voice commands to make phone calls while driving. You can also send text messages, listen to your personal playlists, and access certain phone apps.

2. GMC Pro Safety

The GMC Pro Safety package is an essential part of the Sierra 1500 safety network, containing several different assistive driving functions that can reduce the risk of accidents. GMC Pro Safety includes:

  • Lane Keep Assist with Lane Departure Warning
  • Forward Collision Alert
  • Buckle to Drive
  • Front Pedestrian Braking
  • IntelliBeam
  • Following Distance Indicator
  • Automatic Emergency Braking

These features work by using radar sensors and digital cameras to watch your truck’s path and monitor its position on the road. When a potential hazard is detected, GMC Pro Safety issues an alert for you to change your course of action or apply the brakes.

3. Trailering Package

The available GMC Trailering Package makes the Sierra 1500 a great option for drivers with frequent towing needs. This package includes a hitch, trailering hitch platform, 4-pin and 7-pin connectors, a 7-wire electrical harness, and a 2-inch receiver hitch. It also comes equipped with Hitch Guidance, an innovative feature that lets you view your trailer and hitch on an in-cabin display.

4. GMC MultiPro Tailgate

The GMC MultiPro tailgate is an available feature that makes hauling, loading, and unloading cargo easier. This tailgate is designed with six possible configurations, including a built-in step for climbing up into your cargo box.
