Air Filter Replacement
Combustion requires vast amounts of clean air to mix with the fuel. Air enters the air filter, which traps dirt and other debris before allowing clean air into the engine. As time passes, the filter will come clogged with dirt and restrict the engine’s airflow. The lack of air will turn your engine fuel-rich, which reduces engine performance.
In addition, a fuel-rich engine can cause damage to the spark plugs, ignition coils, and other engine components. If it’s not corrected, the cylinders and pistons can suffer damage in the long term. Replacing the filter is a quick process and helps remove issues.
Brake Servicing
The brakes are arguably your vehicle’s most important safety feature, as they allow you to vary your speed and stop at any time. They rely on pressure and heat to work effectively, and this causes braking components to sustain wear and tear over time. Strange noises, decreased braking effectiveness, or any odd reaction when you hit the brakes are all signs something is wrong and you need a brake checkup.
Our technicians examine and test all components in the braking system. The brake pads are replaced if necessary, and the rotors are checked for cracks or damage. The brake hoses and lines are checked for leaks or rust, and the brake fluid is tested and then replaced.
AC Servicing
An Indiana summer is no time to have an AC on the fritz. Our AC servicing involves examining all the major AC components like the compressor, condenser, receiver-dryer, evaporator, and expansion valve. Certain components, like the compressor clutch, can wear out over time, and a worn clutch can cause the compressor to fail.
All the seals in the system are tested for tightness, and the ducts and air vents are cleaned. An AC service ensures your cabin will stay as cold as it can be, even on hot days.
